Many people are curious about one question: what's the future like?
We saw space expansions, advanced utopias, post-apocalypse wastelands, cyberworlds, the retaliations from mother nature, the alien invasions, and many other great prophecies of the future. But as human beings, we could never ignore one true question among these oracles: what would humanity be?
Here, we proudly present you the Renascence, a series of creations that peeks into the future that combines multiple possibilities. The first batch of artists who behind these astonishing artworks are 3 out of 300+ candidates from the Crypto · NextGen Frontier Artist Selection co-hosted by CAA, iFeng Art, China Art Weekly, and Flow blockchain.
We used to think that when the doomsday arrives, everything will end in a split second. But in fact, the number of deaths caused by doomsday was only a fraction of the total loss. At first, soaring fireballs and explosions spread all over the world, and a storm of flames swept through hundreds of cities and turned them all into ashes. But what was more deadly was the ensuing disintegration. Smoke and dust obscured the sky, causing a sudden drop in temperature. Plants withered and died. Lethal radiation was everywhere, and the earth's ecology gradually fell apart.
But humanity has never lost hope, nor will the fire of civilization die easily. The survivors of the Apocalypse struggled for life, trying their best to sustain themselves in the harsh environment. We may look to the stars, the remnants of the past or another space for a possible way out. In a post-apocalyptic world, we are forced to make a choice, braving the quickly deteriorating world with a strong will, to carve out some living space.
Now we are presenting you 3 future paths: Interstellarist, Rebuilder, and Metascendee.
By holding these art NFTs, you will have the opportunity to collect your favourite works and join the corresponding faction communities. After that, you could write your own stories based on the background and then your story will have the chance to be part of the next artwork. Once your story is selected by the community members who hold the NFTs, you could have the opportunity to collaborate with the artist and share the profits from your co-creation.
You may ‘Contract’ your favourite artworks to support your favourite artists. After purchasing the artist’s work, you could keep your address or designated signature in the metadata of the acknowledgement list/sponsor when the following artwork is minted.

BHQS Chen Bin dedicates to the themes of space expansion and global environmental problems. He always cares about the relationship between Earth and human beings and concerns the deeper space's future and potentialities.

He is a rising artist who graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts with a major in animation. He won the Finalist award in the 5th Silk Road Visual Masters summit, the Best Visual Award in Crypto·NextGen Frontier Artist Selection, and the Finalist Award of the 3rd GGAC Global Game Animation Art Concept Competition.
Shen X indulges in the topic of rebirth and reconstruction of civilization since he firmly believes in the endurance and persistence of humanity. Even the contents of his work is usually a vast wasteland, and there's eternal loneliness flooding the scene, we can still catch up the breath of hope from his works.
